Bethany Baptist Church

Bethany Baptist Church is the oldest church in Haralson.  It was established Aug 28, 1830 on Land lot #125. 

The current church and cemetery is located North of Tallapoosa on St Hwy 100 on Bethany Church Rd. Link to cemetery.

Charter Members were Silas Dobbs, Samuel Jordan, Christian Hite, Aaron Miller, Charlotte Dobbs, Emelia Hite, Christian

Hite Jr, Elizabeth Hite, Martha Jordan, Sarah Norman and Amelia Felton.
