Mrs. James A. Tomberlin Dies; Services to be Held Wednesday

REBECCA - Funeral services for Mrs. James A. Tomberlin, 58, of ROute 2, ebecca, who died Monday morning at Ben Hill County Hospital, were to be conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Abba Baptist Church by the Reverends Jerry Richards, Horace Holcomb and W. H. Adams. Interment was to follow in the Brushy Creek Cemetery in Irwin County.

Mrs. Tomberlin, a native of Irwin County, was born January 18, 1907, a daughter of the late Alex and Jennie Hardin Dix. She was a member of the Abba Baptist Church and had resided in the community for the past 21 years.

Survivors include: The widower, James A. Tomberlin, Rebecca.
Three sons: W. J. Tomerlin, U. S. Air Force, Honolulu, Hawaii, Drew W. Tomberlin, U. S. Army, Columbus and Roger A. Tomberlin, U. S. Air Force, Sunnymead, California.
Four daughters: Mrs. Bettie Nell Parrish, Mrs. Virginia Hagan and Mrs. Geneva Morris, all of Miami, Fla., and Mrs. Vivian Martin, Irwinville.
A brother, Wallace Dix of Lake City, Fla.
A sister, Mrs. Beulah Green, Miami, Fla.
Fifteen grandchildren.

Paulk Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
