Willie Edgar BALLARD was son of Washington Green Ballard, dentist in Madison, Ga., planter in Morgan Co., Ga., b. 11/14/1810, d. 8/24/1882 in Morgan Co., m. in Jasper Co., 12/15/1846, Elizabeth Tinsley POWELL, b. 11-1-1826 in Jasper Co., d. 7/31/1882 in Atlanta, Ga. Elizabeth POWELL was dau. of Evan H. POWELL, 1788-1859 of Jasper Co., and Harriet T. UNDERWOOD, who d. 1827, age 28, who were m. 1825 in Jasper Co. Evan H.
