The Jones Family of Jasper County, Georgia

MOLLIE INDIA KELLY, 1864-1948, married 1885 WILLIAM COLENSWORTH JONES, 1858, died Oxford, Georgia 1920.  He lived in his father's old home until 1898 when he moved to Eudora, Georgia, later to Oxford. He was Justice of the Peace when young until about 1918.  Both buried at Prospect Church Cemetery.

1.  David Cluie born 1886, married Cora Griffin

2.  Emily Inez, born 1889 married J. C. Ellis

3.  Thomas Fred born 1892 married Ila Downs Pope

4.  William Clyde born 1894 married Ester McCrary

5. Annie Jean born 1897 married first W. T. Hardman and second W. A. Phillips

6.  Mary born 1900 died 1984

7.  Eleanor Louise born 1902 married Carl P. Deden

8.  Ralph Kelly born 1905 married Mary Grace Morehead

9.  Sarah Martha born 1908 married G. C. Taylor

William C. Jones was a son of Sarah Ann Campbell, 1829-1886, whose mother was a Buchanan, who married as his second wife 1851, David Colensworth Jones, 1823-1864, Capt. 905th District, Georgia Militia in 1861.

Capt. Richard Jones, ca. 1660-1747 married Amy Batte

Col. Richard Jones, died 1759 married Sarah Stratton

Richard Jones, 1720-1778 married Elizabeth Batte

William Jones, Sr. 1758-1841 married Mary Hancom in 1784

William Jones, Jr. 1785-1863 married Mary Lewis in 1816
