Deed Between R. S. Bailey and Bethel Grove Baptist Church

This indenture, made this 13th day of June in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred and ten between R. S. Bailey of the County of Jasper of the first part, and Bethel Grove Baptist Church and Lodge No. 360, of the County of Jasper of the second part.  Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of twenty five dollars, in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained, sold and conveyed, and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said parties of the second part, their heirs and assigns, all that tract or parcel of land lying or being in the County of Jasper, said State, two acres of land lying and being in the 296th district G. M. of said County and State, and bounded as follows:  on the north by public road leading from Monticello to Waters Bridge, on the east by the above described pond, and Mrs. Dora Cornwell, on the south and west by Mrs. Dora Cornwell.  To have and to hold the said bargained premises, together with all and singular the rights, members and appurtenances thereof, to the same being, belonging and in anywise appertaining to the only proper use, benefit and behoof of Bethel Grove Baptist Church and Lodge No. 360, the said parties of the second part, their heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, in fee simple.  And the said party of the first part his heirs executors and administrators the said bargained premises unto the said parties of the second part, their heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, against the said party of the first part, his heirs, executors and administrators and all and every other person or persons shall and will warrant and forever defend by virtue of these presents.  In witness whereof, the said party of the first part has hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal, the day and year first above written.
