Indenture between George Young of Oglethorpe County , Georgia , and Edmond Webb of Randolph County , Georgia , for a tract of land in the 16th district, Randolph County , Georgia.   Dated September 23, 1809.

This indenture made the twenty third Sept in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nine between George Young of the county of Oglethorpe and State of Georgia of the one part and Edmond Webb of the county of Randolph and state aforesaid of the other part.

 

Witnesseth that the said George Young for an in consideration of the sum of five hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Edmond Webb at and before the sealing and delivery of these presence the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained and sold and do by these presence grant bargain and sell unto the said Edmond Webb his heirs and assigns all that tract or lot of land number one hundred and ninety one sixteenth district in Randolph County and bounded by No. 170, No. 192, No. 190 and No. 200.  To have and to hold the aforesaid lot of land unto the said Edmond Webb his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging, from and against the said George Young his heirs and assigns and all other persons whatsoever.  In witness whereof the said George Young his heirs and assigns and all other persons whatsoever.  In witness whereof the said George Young hath hereunto set his hand seal this day and year above written.
