Deed to Jones Temples from Jeremiah Slade of Tatnall County , Georgia , 202 ½ acres in Randolph County , Georgia.  Sold Feb 25, 1811.

This indenture made and entered into this twenty fifth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eleven between Jeremiah Slade of the county of Tatnall and State of Georgia of the one part and Jones Temples of the county and state aforesaid of the other part.

 

Witnesseth that the said Jeremiah Slade for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Jones Temples the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge, hath bargained sold and delivered and by these presents doth bargain, sell and deliver unto the said Jones Temples his heirs and assigns one certain tract or lot of land containing two hundred and two and a half acres more of less, situate lying and being in the county of Randolph which is known and distinguished in the plan of said district by the number one hundred and ninety two sixteenth district.  Surveyed on the 29th day of May 1807 by Hugh McDonald and drawn by the said Jeremiah Slade.  Together with all singular the rights, titles and appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the said tract or lot of land and also all the right, title, interest, claim or demand of him the said Jeremiah Slade his heirs and assigns of into or out of the same to the said Jones Temples his heirs and assigns in fee simple forever and all singular the premises aforesaid against myself, my heirs and assigns or any other person or persons whatsoever, to him the said Jones Temples his heirs and assigns – I warrant and forever defend.
