Sale of slave named Augustus to Abel P. Wilson from E. Brown in Jasper County, Georgia, dated October 20, 1846

Then received of Abel P. Wilson four hundred and fifty dollars it being full satisfaction for a negro boy by the name of Augustus about eleven years of age the right and title of said negro I do warrant and forever defend unto the said Abel P.  his heirs and assigns and do warrant said negro to be bound.

 

Given under my hand and seal this 20th October 1846 .
