Know all men by these presents that I Joseph Wilson of the State of Georgia and County of Jasper am held and firmly bound in the just and full sum of nine hundred dollars unto James Johnston of the State aforesaid and county of Franklin for the payment of which well and truly to be made I bind myself, my heirs and executors and administrators or assigns unto the said James Johnston his heirs, executors, administrators or assigns in which whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this 24th of September 1816.
The condition of the above bond is such that if the above
bound Joseph Wilson shall make
unto the above mentioned James
Johnston a good and lawful right and title from himself his heirs or
assigns also from all other persons and all and every claim or claims of all
and every person or persons whatsoever unto the said James
Johnston his heirs and administrators or assigns unto a certain piece of
land being situate and lying in the county of Franklin on the waters of Webb
Creek being a part of a tract or parcel of land surveyed for and granted to Benjamin
Wilson. The piece of land to
contain three hundred acres bounded S.W. by Smith
and Carpenter and south east by a
line between Johnston and Coleman
then with
And when such rights is made which is to be made on or against the 19th of December 1817 then the above bond or obligation to be null and void other ways to remain in full force and virtue at law in witnesseth I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 24th of September 1816. The above mentioned titles to be made when J. Wilson receives one hundred and fifty dollars for 300 acres of land.
