MALONE SISTERS
IN LYCEUM WORK
Popular and Talented Monticello Young Ladies to Give Concerts
Upon the earnest solicitation of the P.T.A. at Hillsboro and Shady Dale, the Malone Sisters, talented young ladies, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. John Frank Malone, of Monticello, have kindly consented to give benefit performances in this section during the Yuletide season, appearing at Hillsboro on next Monday evening, December twenty-seventh and in Shady Dale the following night..
These young ladies have been scattered, it might be said, for
the past year of two, living in different parts of the country. Now that
they are at home for the
Christmas season, they were prevailed upon to once more give some of their
concerts. This they have agreed to do, and a great treat is in store for
all who hear them.
Their programme consists of classic and popular songs, dances and music. Beautiful costumes are used and one of the Malone Sisters' entertainments is well worth the price which is asked for a ticket.
Entertainers of Note
They are natural-born musicians, and in individual as well as ensemble work, they are unexcelled. Their character sketches and dance skits always are pleasing and entertaining.
Assisting the Malone Sisters will be Mr. Carl Wall, who, also is a musician and entertainer of merit. He is the husband of "Miss Grace," as she is more familiarly known to the home-town folks.
MALONE SISTERS
WILL ENTERTAIN
Popular Local Musicians and Entertainers To Give Concert in Monticello on Next Thursday Evening
An announcement of interest is that of the entertainment at the school auditorium, Thursday night of next week, (July 26th) when the Georgia Entertainers, featuring the Malone Sisters, assisted by Mr. Carl Wall will appear in lyceum program.
These young ladies are the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. John Frank Malone of this city, and are musical artists of the highest type. Their program will be one of real enjoyment and well worth while, we are sure, for they have devoted considerable time to this class of entertainment, having filled engagements throughout the South for several years.
Mr. Wall, who joined the company when he married the eldest daughter, Miss Grace Malone, is himself an artist and his contribution to the evening's program will also be of a high class order. He, too, has spent a number of years on the stage making for himself an enviable reputation as an actor and musician.
The News bespeaks for the Georgia Entertainers a crowded house next Thursday night.
