Forest Grove Cemetery

Near Clyattville, Lowndes Co., GA

This is a partial listing of the Forest Grove Cemetery near Clyattville, GA. This information was copied in the late 1970's by Kay (Arnold) Jorgensen.

These are the directions I have on how to get to the Forest Grove Cemetery. Go North from Madison, FL on highway 145 (It is highway 31 in GA.). Just north of the

 main part of Clyattville, turn left on Nankin Road. Cross the railroad tracks, then turn right on the first paved road, The Old Clyattville Road. Go until you come to

Ousley Road. Turn Left onto Ousley Rd. Go two and a half miles until you come to a big white two story house on the left. I think the name on the house is E. C. Lane.

Then turn left on the second dirt road after the big white house. It is the first road past Bland Dairy Road. It is a narrow dead end street. As I recall the cemetery is back in

a short way, on the right.

I have not been to this cemetery since 1981, so if someone else can give more current directions on how to get there, it might be helpful. K.J.
