Mt. Zion Church Cemetery

Near Clyattville, Lowndes Co., GA

This is a partial listing of the Mt. Zion Church Cemetery near Clyattville, GA. This information was copied in the late 1970's by Kay (Arnold) Jorgensen.

These are the directions I have on how to get to the Mt. Zion Church Cemetery. Go North from Madison, FL on highway 145 (It is highway 31 in GA.). Just north of the main part of Clyattville, turn left on Nankin Road. Cross the railroad tracks, then turn right on the first paved road, The Old Clyattville Road. Go until you come to Ousley Road. Turn Left onto Ousley Rd. Go until you come to Rockyford Road. Turn right onto Rockyford Road. When you get to Mt. Zion Road turn right onto it. The cemetery is in a ways on the right. I do not recall seeing any church there. I do remember passing a house before getting to the cemetery.

I have not been to this cemetery since 1976, so if someone else can give more current directions on how to get there, it might be helpful. K. J.
