Feb. Term 1815
At a court began and held at the courthouse in the town of Danielsville on
Monday, February 6, 1815. PRESENT: their Honors JAMES SANDERS; EDWARD
WARE; BOZEMAN ADARE; ALLEN DANIEL; and PHILIP SHACKLEFORD, ESQRS.
Ordered that the overseer of the poor take charge of Nancy Howel and aged
and infirm woman now in the care of William Howenton and that she be
provided for as the law directs in such cases.
Ordered that James Long have license to retail spirituous liquors on
application.
Ordered that Robert S. Tait have license to retail spirituous liquors on
application.

Ordered that William Hodge Esqr. be and is hereby appointed overseer of the
poor in Madison County.
Ordered that Wattcy Johnson receive $16.04 for extra work done on the
courthouse for Madison County at any time (Order Issued).
Court then adjourned until the first Monday in May.
