Looking for info on James Bowren. Found him in Wilkes County, Ga. tax records in 1793. His land was next to Seth Thompson. Thompson's daughter, Rebecca married a Bowren, possibly one of James Bowren's sons. My GGG grand father was S. Thompson Bowren. The Bowren name has many variances, Boren, Boring, Bouren, Bowen etc. Thanks, Larry Bowen

PATTON: 1860 US Census for Madison County, GA. list William Pato Patton b abt 1850, siblings are Hezekiah, Henry, Martha, Mother named Martha. William was my gggrandfather. He shows up again on the 1880 Census married to S.F. (Sarah Francis) ?? with one child a daughter named Lientencia she was my ggrandmother. If anyone has information I would gratefully appericate your help. I need help with my White lines. My ggrandfather was Robert Thomas White he shows up on the 1870 US Census for Madison County, GA. His father was Samuel his mother was Mary, his siblings were Rachel, Nancy, Mary, Emma, Sarah, and Alice. Robert was b abt 1855. If anyone knows this family, I would appericate your help.

I am researching TOLBERT, SAILORS, DODD, AYERS,BROWN, BUNN in GA. My line of Calvin Tolbert b.c.1830 marr. Elizabeth Sailors and lived in Jackson and Madison Counties, GA. Calvin Tolbert/Talbot was killed in 1862 Civil War in VA. Calvin is believed to be the son of Tapley B. Tolbert and Sarah (nee) Tolbert who were in Oglethorpe, Clarke and Jackson Co., GA. Researching Rev. Timothy Carrington and any descendants. He died in 1822 in Madison Co. and several of his descendants moved into Coweta and Harris Co., GA. Joseph SANDERS/SAUNDERS lived in Madison County form the time it became a county. I fail to find him in Georgia Census after 1840. I need to contact a descendant or some one tell me where he went after leaving Madison Co. Ga. He did a lot of official business with the large Saunders family living there, but was not a son.

Seek ancestors, including parents, and other info on William B. DANIEL, b 14 Aug 1830, d 26 Dec 1898, m Elizabeth (Wylie) White, b 23 Sept 1814, d 12 June 1895. They were residents of York County, SC and both buried at Neely's Creek ARP Church there. William was known as "The Georgian", indicating that he and/or his family may have migrated from GA. I have had this query on "unknown counties page" but older family members suggest trying Danielsville also.
