JONES posted by Chris Jones on Wednesday, April 7, 1999

I am looking for the parents of Thomas Alfred Jones, born in Madison County, GA, January 4, 1810. He likely left Madison County for Forsythe County in the 1830's with a land grant. He died February 5, 1870 in Forsythe County. Also, I am interested in any information on the likelihood of obtaining either birth, or marriage records for Madison County around 1800. I suspect Thomas Jones' father might have participated in the War of 1812.
