FLETCHER, HOLLIDAY, MCGUIRE posted by Dave Holiday on Thursday, July 1, 1999

Looking for records on John M. Holliday who stated in pension application that he lived in Oglethorpe County for 30 years, beginning around 1790. Since he has no records in Oglethorpe, he might be in Madison County due to boundary changes. He possibly married a Fletcher. His sister Sarah Holliday m Alleghany McGuire, who was also in the area. These families were from VA; all left for TN and/or KY later.
