DAVIS, HALL, PAYTON, PEYTON posted by Theresa Hall on Saturday, August 7, 1999

A. HALL married Sarah Davis, d/o Chesley Davis, in Madison Co. 1869. This is the only record I can find for A.HALL. Their only son never knew his father according to family stories. The gist of the story is that A. HALL killed a man and was executed either in GA or SC. Chesley James Pendleton Hall was born 1873. By 1877, his mother Sarah had married again to William Murrow. Is he related to the other Halls in Madison County? I have not been able to find a connection yet.

BLACK, COOPER, WALKER, WILLIAMS posted by Nancy Havill Wortman on Tuesday, August 31, 1999

Searching for parents of Ursula COOPER b. ca 1803 in GA. She m. Thomas James BLACK 1/20/1820. Thomas was a son of Lt. Lemuel BLACK and Mary Ann WILLIAMS (dau. of Matthew Jouett WILLIAMS and Barbara WALKER). Ursula has been a dead-end for me. Possibility that given name could be a form of Susannah Urasula Ann, as later descendants carried that name. Wood like to compare notes with any other COOPER researchers.
