Company F, 2nd Georgia Infantry

Company F, 2nd (Story's) Georgia Infantry Regiment, Georgia State Line, was formed in February 1863 to guard the coast and the state's railroad bridges. Later they served with Cumming's Brigade, Army of Tennessee. They fought at New Hope Church, June 21, 1864; Atlanta, July 22, 1864; Jonesboro, August 1864; and Griswoldville.
