I am looking for the parents of Edmond Dorsey (1811-1893) who lived in Newton County, GA. He was married to (1) Martha Hood and then to (2) Lucy Lumsden July 15, 1839. He had sons named Joel Dorsey, William C., Hezekiah Cornelius ( my great grandfather, who married Nan I. Ellis and moved to Texas in 1880's)to name just a few. If anyone has any info on the DORSEY, LUMSDEN, or ELLIS families who lived in Georgia, I would like to hear from you.
