Snead, Solomon G.; NC>GA; born 1825-died after 1870; possible son of Samuel S. Snead. Searching for information regarding Solomon G. Snead. Probably born abt 1825 in North Carolina. Lived in Henry County, Georgia (1850) and Spalding County, Georgia in 1860/1870. Married Obedient Gibson on Jan 18, 1855 in Spalding County, Georgia. Children = Shockley and Harrison among others? I suspect that he may have been an older son of Samuel S. Snead, b abt 1792 in Richmond County, North Carolina and later lived in Forsyth & Henry Counties of Georgia and finally in Cherokee County, Alabama. Any information appreciated.
