I am seeing info on Levi Taylor, Born 10/18/1807 in SC who married Martha Hay July 21, 1831. Children are: Samuel Brantley, Lucy Ann Elizabeth, George Jefferson, Jim, Tom, Henry, Pearl, Susan, Martha and Martha Ada.

Looking for info. on William Lowe, born in Newton Co., Georgia on March 14, 1847. He lived in Chatooga Co. and was a Representative in the Georgia House. Any information would be appreciated. He married Sarah Burton and after she died, married Minnie Johnston.

My ancestors were early settlers of Jasper Co, GA; James Baker applied for a cattle marker in 1807. The 1820 Census lists James Baker, Jesse Baker, 45+ years, and Joshua Baker, 45+ years. Jesse Baker is a neighbor of Jesse Loyall, brother of my gg grandmother, Margaret ("Peggy") Loyall, who married Charles Baker and moved to Tuscaloosa, AL. Jesse Loyall, John Loyall and Peggy Loyall were children of Francis Loyall and wife, Elizabeth Hicks. Evidence indicates that these families lived near Monticello or in the Jasper-Newton area. Would like to find ANY information about the Bakers,- grave sites, descendants still living in the Jasper-Newton-Rockdale Cos, and the location of their home prior to their move to Jasper Co. From ages given in the 1820 Census, it is most probable that Jesse, James and Joshua Baker were Revolutionary soldiers. ANY information about the Bakers will be appreciated. Thank you! I am looking for the graves of Robert Rakestraw and his wife; he died in 1863. I have a copy of his will asking that a plot of ground be set aside for his burial site. I have found the cemetary of his son, Robert M. Rakestraw and his wife on Dixie Highway in Newton, but cannot locate his father's grave. Can you help? thank you
