Mary Virginia Mattox

The Will of Richard V
Gaulding, the husband of Mary Virginia Mattox. His parents are:
Alexander Gaulding, III and Nancy Noel
Richard V Gaulding
birth: 3 Apr 1811 Culpepper County, Virginia
death: 4 Jan 1884 Crawford, Oglethorpe County, Georgia
This death date is a little controversial because the Will states
that it was probated on 1 Mar 1871, but according to other records,
Richard V Gaulding died 4 Jan 1884. It's very strange too because
he doesn't mention my Great Grandfather, John Tyler Gaulding or
his other son, David Mattox Gaulding in his Will at all. My Daddy
always wondered why this was. It could be that my Great Grandfather
had moved so far away to Mississippi, but that doesn't explain David
Mattox Gaulding not being included in the Will when he stayed in
Georgia.
