- Looking for evidence of a marriage of Jemima POOL and ? BOOTHE in Randolph Co., GA sometime between 1860 and 1870.
Jemima POOL, a widow, aged 45, is living alone in a boarding house in Randolph Co., GA in the 1850 census. She is aged 52 and still
alone and head of household in the 1860 census (occupation farming) of Randolph Co.
I suspect that she may have married a BOOTHE between 1860 and 1870. There is a Jemima BOOTHE, aged 57, in the household of my
ggrandfather, William Ryley POOLE, in the 1870 census of Miller Co., GA. I believe that Jemima BOOTHE is William's mother.
