- I'm looking for the parents of Merritt (or Merit) JONES who lived in Randolph County in 1840, wife's name Ann. Moved to Coffee
County, Ala. before 1846. Could there be any connection with Elizabeth Hart Screven Jones, buried in Cuthbert with DAR marker? Any

BRIGHAM and Martha MOTT and sister of Seth BRIGHAM that m. Mary R. JONES in Randolph Co. GA. After George Washington
Barker died, Eunice moved to Blanco Co. TX. I would like to exchange information.

Aaron LANIER md 2nd Jane WINDOWEEDLE in Marion Co. Ga. 27 Dec 1845. They had no children. He died in 1863 in Randolph Co. Ga.

- Looking for more info on Henry L. ALLISON and his three wives: 1-Ann P. RAINIEY, dau of Reuben Morgan RAINEY and
Catherine CLEATON 2-Mary Ann LANIER and 3-Ruth LANIER, sisters, and daughters of Aaron LANIER, and wife Durinda.
All were residents of Randolph County and Marion County, Ga. approx. 1850-1880. Henry L. ALLISON and three wives had total of 17
children, too many to mention here. But there was also a Smallwood P. ALLISON living in Randolph County. Who are his descendants?
Also there is a building in downtown Cuthbert called the Allison Building. Who owned it? Are they connected to Henry L. ALLISON or
Smallwood P. ALLISON? Any help will be appreciated. I have family bible and other data on Henry L. ALLISON and will share it.

an Edward and Gidia HITSON. Siblings include Susan, Mary and Sarah. Edward is thought to have been born in Edgefield Dist., SC to an
Edward EIDSON.

- Need information on Kittie C. LUCAS aka Kittie C. Lucas ALEXANDER. She is thought to be 3/4 Indian, Cherokee or Creek. A
Katherine Lucas ALEXANDER is listed in the 1870 Coweta Co., Census. Possibly the same person. Need information on her and her parents.
Kittie married John Wesley HITSON, born in Randolph Co., Ga. probably about 1800. Children include Ezekial H., Green
William, Martin Tucker, Robert Edward Lee, Major A., Halsie Valley, Ida Grace and John Kendrick
Hitson. This family finally settled in Butler County, AL, where both died.
