- Researching allied families for Jane REYNOLDS whose will is recorded in Randolph County, stating that she had already given Wm.
D. REYNOLDS his part at the time of his marriage. He married in Henry County in 1837 to Mary C. TOLAND and departed west. Eventually
he was buried in Burnet, TX, NW of Austin in 1887 (born 12/31/1815). His father, Thomas REYNOLDS, apparently died in Butts County where
they settled after the lottery of 1820. It appears they are related to Richard REYNOLDS and son Thomas who were in Wilkes County
before the Rev War and both served in the Rev War. See DAR application 355511 by Adelin Worrill HAMMACK in 1940, wife of Jerry B.
HAMMACK and address was College Street in Cuthbert, GA. She shows herself as grand daughter of Thomas Jefferson REYNOLDS who was
killed in the Civil War in VA August 1862 and was born in Paulding County 2/14/1836 married Marinda OWEN born 9/03/1844 in Haywood
County, NC. His father was Thomas, son of Richard, who was born 1766 in Henry County, VA and Richard born circa 1738 in
VA, both shown as buried in Walton County. Hopefully someone can show the relationship to the Thomas buried in Butts County as his wife seemed
to go to Randolph County to be with other family members after her husband's death.

- I am looking for information on Martin CHESTER who was b. abt 1813. He married Martha CHASON on Sept 22, 1831. He was
listed in the 1840 census of Randolph County, Ga. and also listed in 1850 & 1860 in Decatur County, Ga. Other facts on Martin are that
he was named after the ship his parents came over on from England and that he was the first CHESTER of his line born in the USA. Would like
to know who his parents were, where his parents came from in England and any other information about this line.

17, 1881.
Also looking for siblings and parents of Salley COLEMAN, b. June 26, 1866, m. Daniel Thomas NORWOOD, Jr. on May 30, 1886. She

- My father, Hosea Cortez HARRIS, was born March 27, 1897, the son of John Thomas HARRIS and Minnie J. MATHEWS. His
obit says he was born in Brooksville, but I always thought it was Shellman. He died in Mitchell County Hospital in Camilla on December 24,
1969.
Minnie J. MATHEWS was born in Terrell County on April 17, 1872, and died January 21, 1911. She was a member of the Sardis Baptist Church
at Sardis. Her father was Zachery Taylor MATHEWS, of Terrell County who died January 29, 1932.
Can anyone help me expand the family tree?
