John HAISTY married Mary M. N. A. DANIEL on Nov. 05, 1847 in Randolph Co. GA. I am seeking any descendants of this family to possibly make a connection to our HAISTY families who were born in NC in the early 1800s. Many families have dropped the "i" and it is difficult to trace the surname. My ancestor was also a John HAISTY, but not the same one mentioned above. Any help at all from HAISTY or DANIEL descendants will be most welcome. Thanks

Looking for ancestors of John Wesley SUTLIVE and his wife Clementina Golden HENDERSON OF Fort Gaines, Georgia. They were married in 1832 and had 5 children: California b.10/11/1846, Mary Ann, Indiana Bracewell, John Wesley, Jr., and Missouri A. My line is California who married Green Berry MOORE on 2/26/1868. I know there is another query about these same folks, but I can't seem to contact Robbie Sutlive about it. Anyone else have this line?

I am interested in learning if there are tax records available other than the years 1848 and '49,that have been filmed by LDS. I am looking for William HOPKINS (1840 to mid 1850) of the tenth district. (as per census records) If other years are available I would like to know how I might locate the record. Does the court house answer mail request? Also, I would like to find a map showing districts and lot numbers. Thanks

It is believed that Daniel BURDESHAW along with his children, James Jehu, William H., Daniel Eli, Richard, Martha Ellen, Frances, and Lucinda. His daughter, Mary, married to M.R.W. DAVIS remained in either Randolph County or Stewart County. There was a now lost town called Cotton Hill, Ga. I think they moved sometime after 1850 to Kinsey (Dothan) Ala. area. William H. was my g grandfather. I haven't been able to trace the family any further back than this. I would be so appreciative if anyone out there has any information and would be willing to share. Thanks in advance.
