Mother said to have died giving birth to twins, father moved to Al. could not raise children alone, Luther and Arthur were raised by a Catholic family. Daisy had typhoid fever at young age caused severe brain damage,she was placed in Partlow State Hospital where she died 50 yrs. later. The other children were taken to Selma Methodist Orphanage in Al. Dollie, Bessie, Lillie, were not accepted at the home because of their age. Virginia Ruth was taken from home and raised by (Miss KING) who's family had moved from Ga. to Madison /Jackson Co. Tn . to Al. I have all info on the KING family. They are buried in our family cemetery. Although no kin they raised my grandmother and mother. I need to know wife of Thomas Mike WING. Any info on these and family of Edgar Lee KIRKLAND, Sr. who settled in Al.

I am looking for some family connection with Peter W. G. KENT and also to my g-g grandfather, Augustus Marion SLATON. I have not been able to trace them any further back past 1850. I know that Peter W. G. was married in Muscogee Co. , GA. I see that an Alexander A. SLATON was in the infantry in Randolph Co. GA. I would love to know whether anyone else is looking for these names.

Recently received information that great-great grandfather, Sam RODGERS was also known as Bonnie RODGERS/ROGERS. This information was filed on social security application of youngest daughter, Mandy Bell ROGERS-WEST. She listed her father's name as Bonnie, but had (Sam) in parenthesis. If anyone has information on Bonnie RO(D)GERS b. ca. 1826, would appreciate hearing from you. His last residence was Ft. Gaines, Clay County, Georgia. Last known spouse: Adeline THORNTON. Would also like to know what towns/cities in Clay, Terrell Counties were considered part of Randolph before separation of said counties.

In the book, "Jasper Co, Georgia, Cemetery and Bible Records", John H. BLACKWELL's bible records contains the following information: "James Buchanan SCOTT and Margaret Fulton SCOTT, landed in Savannah, Georgia, from Scotland, Dec. 1830; she d. 1885." In the same book under Gabriel Toombs SPEARMAN's bible records, I find this entry: "Toombstone Record: James BUCHANAN b Paisley Scotland 11-30-1806, buried at Cuthbert, Georgia June 22, 1845. Mary MCWILLIAMS, dau. John and Margaret FULTON b. Paisley, Scotland, November 30, 1807. Died, and buried, at Cuthbert, Georgia, October 29, 1885. These are great grandparents of Julia Geiger SPEARMAN. Does anyone have the SCOTT, BUCHANAN, MCWILLIAMS, FULTON connection?

I am trying to find information on my great great Grandfather, Will CROZIER from Coleman, Randolph County, Georgia. He had two daughters that I know; of Ruby who died in appromately 1902 and Willie G. born on 9-9-1874 and died in Alabama on 6-12-1922. Willie G. married R.B. FORRESTER.
