BRUNER / MCELVAINE / RANEW (08/06/99)
Searching for links to Tias BRUNER, married ___ RANEW in the late 1800's. Their son Richard Eugene BRUNER, married Alice Victoria MCELVAINE in the early 1900's.

The BRUNER roots go back to Thomas BRUNER of Orangeburg District, SC. He sold his land there and settled in Early County, later moving to Randolph County. He married at least 3 times, 2 names unknown one named Mary Ann RICH.

Thomas' children were Anthony Columbus, William H., Andrew J., Thomas Titus, Martha Ann, Adelene N., Emaline, Ulessius T., Isabella, John Wesley, Sarah H., and Perry C. BRUNER.

Tias BRUNER's father was one of these children. I would appreciate any help that anyone could provide. I have additional information to share too.

Need help locating information on the families of my gg-grandparents, Nicholas CHRISTIAN, born GA 1820 and Margaret WILSON born SC 1826.

They were Married 29 Jan 1846 in Randolph County, GA. They had three daughters, Ella (my g-grandmother), Anna and Emma. Ella was born in Quitman County, GA. in 1848.

    Would like to correspond with descendants of Benagah BASS and first wife, Susan Hamilton BASS. They are both buried at New Bethel Cemetery. Their daughter, Mary Jane Frances (Molly), was my grandmother. Their other children were James E. BASS, Chary A.N. BASS, Martha Susan BASS, Eliza Elizabeth BASS, William Jackson BASS, John Henry BASS, Columbus F. BASS and Janet Matilda BASS. Benagah married second to Elizabeth (possibly a CULBRETH). They had two children, but I know even less about them. Any information on this first family would be appreciated. Benagah's sister,Matilda, married Walter TAYLOR.

    Re-Isaac BROOKS Estate. I just received information on a Clay Co GA deed for Isaac BROOKS and it contains Charles MANDEVILLE of Randolph Co from Frances M. BROOKS of same place for all right and title & claim he has upon the estate of his father, Isaac BROOKS, late of Clay co..

    Can anyone tell me what the connection to Charles and the BROOKS family???? Isaac was a brother to my great grandfather, Henry BROOKS, they lived  in Troup Co. GA. I haven't any info on the  children of Isaac and Mariah SHANK, except their names  or Isaac and Melice PHILLIPS BROOKS, except their names also. I will appreciate any HELP I can get. THANK YOU

    There are many records such as deeds, poll tax, jury list Samuel was in Ga militia from Randolph Co Ga in 1837. We have found nothing to tie this family together as a family. Need help. Most of the family moved to Coffee, Pike, Barbour Co. Al after marriage. Some stayed in the area. Need also parentage of the WHITE, HART, ANGLIN, WILLIAMS, MARSHALL and TEMPLES families. Abner moved to Clay Co Ga, Rachel moved to Quitman Co,. please help to find something to show relationship as a family for all those listed above.

    My grandfather, Charles Jackson CULBRETH (sometimes refered to as either C.J. or Jack C.), was born (17 Aug. 1877) and lived in Randolph County. His parents were James and Zennie Arkansa "Kansas" (JERNIGAN), who had 12 children and raised a nephew, William E. JERNIGAN. "Jack" CULBRETH married Alice Eugenia NICHOLS (b.13 July,1887, d.16 Apr, 1967) Alice was the daughter of Zack and Elizabeth (COSBY) NICHOLS.
