I am searching the mentioned surnames who were in Randolph Co in the 1830's. My gg grandfather, Andrew Jackson PETERS, was born there in 1836. He had at least two brothers, the oldest, Handy, and the youger, Francis Marion.
There was a ____ PETERS and a Albert PEDDY who fought in the Itchaway Notchaway Swamp battle.
This same Albert had a daughter, Sarah Jane, who would later become Andrew's first wife. It is believed that Albert PEDDY settled near Faceville and was buried somewhere near there.
Any help will be GREATLY appreciated!!.
