Rebecca Ann STEPHENS MARTIN CARROLL died in Cuthbert, GA on February 5, 1910. She was previously living in Valdosta, GA. She had a daughter named Anna CARROLL, b. May 1877 who married William T. BIGBY, b. April 1865. Anna and William BIGBY were living in Macon, GA when her mother Rebecca died. I have noticed in the Censuses of Randolph County that there were BIGBY families living there. Can anyone tie William T. BIGBY into these families. I am trying to find out why my gggm Rebecca Ann STEPHENS MARTIN CARROLL was living there. I am a descendant by her first husband Jasper T. MARTIN of Lowndes County. Will correspond by email and exchange data.

I too am seeking information regarding the surname HAY in Randolf County, Georgia. My great great grandfather, Patrick H. MCCOOK married Nancy Elizabeth HAY on 20 August 1855. This info is in Marriage Book #2 page 404, Randolf Co. Ga. They are listed again on the 1860 Census for Hamilton Co, FL. If this connects with your HAY line please contact me at [email protected] Would be happy to share any info I have..

In the 1840 census of Randolph Co, GA there is an Eliazer SMITH listed. The 1840 census lists this person as a male 40/50. Normally I would think Eliazer is a nickname for Elizabeth. Is the census data listing correct? Also in the hh is Males: 1 und 5, 2 5/10, 1 10/15, 1 15/20 Females 1 15/20, 1 20/30.
Does anyone know anything about this family?

1926 Deaths register for Randolph County shows "Charles B. PHILLIPS died 19 May 1926". I'd like to know if this gentleman was Charles Brown PHILLIPS, predeceased by his wife Matilda Aileen MATHEWS PHILLIPS. He may have been living with his daughter's family, who would have been Atwood Council (A.C.) EVERETT and Mamie Aileen PHILLIPS EVERETT, and their daughter Marcia Aileen EVERETT. Marcia would have been about 12 at the time. Thanks.
