Seeking information on James L. SWEET married to Harriett KAIGLER in Randolph Co. Ga July 1842. They are shown in 1850 census there then moved on to Sabine Co., Tx. Would like to correspond with other SWEET researchers.

My gg grandfather was William Riley HOLT who married Rebecca MARLER/MARLEY...their daughter was Nancy HOLT my great grandmother..All lived at one time in Randolph County Ga.
Is there anyone out there that knows anything at all about the HOLTs that lived in Randolph County. Thanks

Civil War researcher/author seeks information and a photograph of Colonel Marcellus DOUGLASS, 13th Georgia Vol. Infantry - CSA. Col. DOUGLASS, commanding Lawton's Brigade at Sharpsburg, MD, (Sept.17, 1862) was killed in action that day. He is buried in Cuthbert.

I need help deciphering some information I found on the 1832 Cherokee land Lottery. It says in the 18th Dist. 4th Selection Irby GILDER drew for land. It also says "Britts, Randolph" What is Britts? Is it a town? Thanks, Tonia

Searching for information on Eugene Q. SMITH. According to family Bible, he married Sarah Eliza "Sally" FLEWELLEN on 25 Oct. 1882 in Cuthbert, GA. Same Bible lists Eugene SMITH's death as 31 Aug 1940 in Scottsboro, AL. Would appreciate any help!

This William Henry HUNT may be related to Elijah HUNT, Louis HUNT, Green HUNT and John HUNT of Randolph Co, GA. They were all living a few doors from each other on the 1840 census.
In 1850 Henry W. HUNT and family were in Dale Co, AL. At that time a Green B. HUNT and family were living a few doors from Henry.
In Randolph Co, GA in 1843 a Henry, Green and Lewis HUNT were listed as petitioners to have a road built from Ft. Gaines to Cuthbert, GA.
Caroline WIGGINS may have had a sister named Emeline WIGGINS who married an Isham THOMAS. They were later in AL.
Any help with the HUNTs and WIGGINS will be appreciated.

I believe William Thomas and Priscilla KIDD are in my line of KIDD's (He would be my GGGG Grandfather). They are listed in the 1860 Marion Co. Ga. census. He was a farrm laborer. Children were Edward or Edmund Alexander and Esther Elizabeth.
If anyone has any information on any of these Kidd's please fill me in.
