I am looking for information on George STUBBS and Sarah Stubbs (OSPREY). I have a birthdate for George of 18 Jun 1789, North Carolina, and a death date of 5 Mar 1837, Cuthbert, Georgia, although I am unsure as to whether either is correct. George and Sarah had the following children: William Osprey STUBBS, James STUBBS, Mathew STUBBS, Lemuel STUBBS, Thomas STUBBS, Ella STUBBS, Maria STUBBS, Caroline STUBBS, and Bersheba STUBBS. Ellen, James, and Mariah married GRIERs from Cuthbert (Felix, ___, and Eli). Mathew and Lemuel married sisters, Elizabeth and Wineford BRIGHAM. Several of the STUBBS, GRIERs, and BRIGHAMs moved to DeWitt and then, Blanco Co., Texas and settled there.
I am particularly interested in obtaining any information about George and Sarah STUBBS and where they came from?!?!? Thank you!

Looking for burial place of James MORRIS and possibly his wife, Harriet, in Randolph County. His will was written in Early County, but probated in Randolph, leading me to believe that he could be buried there. He was from Murray County but due to the horrible conditions in northern Georgia toward the end of The War, he and his wife had moved south, I believe between 1860 and 1865. He was born in 1798 and died 12 June 1865. Harriet was born ca 1801. They were originally from Carnesville, Franklin County, Georgia. I am a descendant of James' brother Eppy White MORRIS, but since James and Harriet had no children, I feel I must try to get the story of their life on record. He was active in the Creek Indian Wars and served in county offices in Franklin Co. Any help would be appreciated so much.
