I am searching for information and/or relatives of William L. BROWN and wife, Nancy Melinda WILSON BROWN. William and Nancy appear in the 1860 and 1870 Randolph County Census, Cuthbert P.O. I cannot find them in 1850 or 1880. William L. and Nancy died in Arkansas. William was b. abt. 1820, Nancy was b. abt. 1834. Children in Randolph County were John P., Nancy C., Wm. L., Edward, May J., Dallas, James M., Early S.

I'm looking information on WEST Family in Randolph Co GA 1860. William W. WEST my gggranddad born in NC. My ggranddad William Joesph WEST his son was killed in civil war and I can find no information on him or the unit he was in. He also had a twin sister. His brother Willimson S. WEST is listed in civil war records.

My Father, Arthur Lee SAILOR was born and raised in Randolph County (Cuthbert), Georgia, in 1913. His Father was Will SAILOR, born in the 1800s, His mother was Lena RANSOM, also born in the 1800s. I'm interested in all the SAILORs in this county as well as the RANSOMs. I would like to found out about my great grandparents on my father side and also who his mother father was. I would appreciate any information you are able to find.

I am trying to find any info on Ella TOBEY, daughter King SHEAR and Nicy GILFORD. Ella married Jim TOBEY of Sasser, Georgia (at least that's where they lived when Ella died in 1923). On Ella's death certificate the birthplace of King SHEAR is listed as Randolph, Georgia, birthplace of Nicy GILFORD is unknown. Ella was born in 1881 or 1886 (the death certificate is unclear) Ella and Jim TOBEY are my husband's grandparents. My husband's father, Rufus, was the last of Jim TOBEY's children. I am looking for ANY information about the ancestors of Edward Henry "Bud" NICHOLS (1856-1908)and his wife, Sarah Jane BRYCE (1856-1941). They were both to have been born in Randolph Co...but I am not 100% sure of the location as yet. They both ended up moving to Wood Co., Texas and raising a family there from which I am a descendant. They are buried at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro, TX, in our "NICHOLS" section. Bud and Sarah were my Gr-Gr-Grandparents. Any information, interest or connection is welcome. Thanks!

Great grandmother Ailcey Harriett MATTHEWS, b. 6-22-1844 in Randolph Co., Ga., second marriage was to John Tracey PIERCE on Jan 10, 1866 in Worth Co., Ga. I don't know if MATTHEWS was her maiden name or her first husband's name. She had one child, a boy, from first marriage who died as a child. I'm searching for first husband's family (MATTHEWS?) or her parents whose name I do not know. She may have been in Atlanta when it was burned in 1864. If you recognize her name, please let me know. I am looking in all Randolph counties throughout the US to try and find a woman by the name of Ethel Lillian STILL. She was my great grandmother. She told everyone she was born in Randolph County. However, she said Tennessee and there is no such place. So I am looking country wide for record of her. If anyone could be of help I would appreciate it.

I've been told my father, Walter D. PEAKS, was born in Cuthbert, Ga, on 6/27/20. I think his mother's name was Flower ELLIS, but I don't know his father's name. I don't think there was a birth certificate available. His siblings names were Jesse, Lottie and Nellie. Is there any information available?

Shadrack ADAMS, Sr. and his wife, Mary Margaret SHEPPARD, lived in Randolph County, GA and Wilkinson County, GA. They are listed in the 1830 Wilkinson Co. Census and in the 1840, 1850, 1860 & 1870 Census years for Randolph County.
They had 14 children - Seaborn married Jane Elizabeth BOYETT, Shadrack Jr. married Margaret CROZIER in Randolph Co. on July 29, 1844, Tabitha, Martha, David, Andrew, and Nancy are the names of their children I have found so far.
I am looking for the names of the other children- six females and one male.
I would also like to know the name of the father and mother of Margaret CROZIER.
I would appreciate any information given to me.

- Bryant BAILEY b. 1806 married to Teresa JOHNSTON b. 1808 in Randolph County by 1837 having moved there from Houston County.
Children were- Quincey P. b. 1830
- Berrien F. b. 1832
- Martha b. 1836
- Susannah b. 1842.
It is believed that Philip BAILEY b. 1760 -1770 who is listed in 1830 Houston County census is Bryant's father and that Thomas and John BAILEY also listed on that census are Bryant's brothers.
Looking for information to confirm this relationship and any other info about these people.
