Monday through Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Probate Court is where you will find wills and estate records, guardianship records, and birth and death records, as well as other information. The State has vital records (birth, death, marriage) with birth and death records from 1919 and marriage records from 1952. The county may have these records before the listed years.

Monday through Friday - 8:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
The Clerk's Office records all documents related to real property in the county, personal property liens and military discharges. The clerk also collects all transfer tax due on property sold and all intangible tax due on mortgages. The Real Estate Division is located on the first floor of the Rockdale County courthouse. The Clerk also handles records from Superior Court.
