AUDREY MCCLINTOCK, 68
BARTOW -- Mrs. Audrey I. McClintock of Bartow died of pneumonia Saturday (Sept.
18, 2004) at her home. She was 68.
Born Sept. 8, 1936, in Donalsonville, Ga., she came to Bartow from Georgia 51
years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Lake Garfield Baptist
Church.
Mrs. McClintock is survived by her husband, William A. "Bill" McClintock;
daughter, Lynn Stinson Deasey, Bartow; brother, Edgar Murkerson, Bartow;
sisters, Edna Evans, Orlando, Jimmie Bush, Donalsonville, Lavada Adams, Pine
Mountain, Ga.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church,
Bartow. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church.
Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow.

JUANITA QUICK, 87
WINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Juanita C. Quick of Winter Haven died of heart failure
Monday (May 30, 2005) in Winter Haven. She was 87.
Born in Donalsonville, Ga., on Nov. 29, 1917, she came to Winter Haven from
Georgia in 1952. She was a telephone operator for Florida Telephone. She was a
Baptist.
Mrs. Quick is survived by her daughter, Barbara Cox, Winter Haven; sister, Vada
Spooner, Donalsonville, Ga.; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; seven
great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Corinth Freewill Baptist
Church Cemetery, Iron City, Ga.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Winter Haven.

BETTY HOWELL, 54
WINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Betty Sue Howell of Winter Haven died of heart failure
Sunday (May 8, 2005) at Winter Haven Hospital. She was 54.
Born in Donalsonville, Ga., on Sept. 13, 1950, she came to Winter Haven from
Georgia 51 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a Baptist.
Mrs. Howell was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Howell. She is survived
by her daughters, Tina Ortiz, Misty Howell, Wendy Howell, all of Winter Haven;
son, Michael Ortiz, Winter Haven; brother, Eddie Jackson, Brandon; sister, Mary
Ann Curry, Lakeland; 14 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 this afternoon at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home,
650 E. Main St., Bartow. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. at Wildwood
Cemetery in Bartow.
