IVEY FAMILY BURIAL GROUND

Located north of Thomasville from U.S. Highway 19 and Ga. 122 (Pavo Road) intersection go 5.2 miles on Ga. 122 Then turn left on the Airport

Road it is 1/10 mile on right. Sits back in wooded area. You must walk thru 15 - 20 ft. of woods before you can see the Large Marble Headstone Marker.

WHEN I WAS A YOUNG GIRL THERE WERE SEVERAL GRAVES SEEN FROM THE ROAD. NOW THERE IS A MARBLE HEADSTONE TYPE

MARKER THAT READS:

ROBERT IVEY

April 30, 1789 Oct 13, 1870

HIS WIVES

ELIZABETH MILLER IVEY MARY HANCOCK IVEY

Unknown to April 18, 1845 1805 to July 25, 1870
