Last Rites For Jordan Foskey Held Sunday

Funeral services for Jordan Foskey, 55, of Soperton were held Sunday at Red Bluff Church, Rev. J. M. Thomas officiating with Sammons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Foskey died Friday at his home of cerebral hemorrhage after an illness of thirty minutes. He was born and reared in Montgomery County and had lived in Soperton throughout his life. He was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, the former Minnie Bell McDaniel; three sons, Dessie Samuel, Richard, and J. C., all of Soperton; four daughters, Shelly, Ellene, Lucille, and Lorene; one brother, J. M. Foskey of Soperton; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Ann Reese of Soperton, Miss Lizzie Foskey of Soperton, and Miss Dorothy Foskey of Soperton.

Pallbearers were Marcus Cox, Thomas A. Watkins, Milton Davis, Robert M. Johnson, Thurmon Johnson, and Leonard Connell.
