Theodore S Swifft, C B Welborn, William J Underwood, R K Ford and D R Smith are added to the number of trustees of the Dalton Academy, county of Whitfield, and that they be invested with all of the powers in connection with those appointed 21 Jan 1852, also to have the power to add to teir number from time to time as they see proper.

Missnoir McGrady of Whitfield County, wife of Charles McGrady, be authorized to be contracted to act as feme sole and to carry business on her own account, and for her own use and benefit; to purchase, hold and dispose of property, real and personal; to sue and be sued; all her future acquisitions shall be in her own name and under her sole control, in as full a manner as if she was never married to Charles McGrady. 15 Feb 1854.

That ---- Lynch be authorized to establish a ferry across Connasauga River, on his own land in the Counties of Whitfield and Murray and to charge such rates of ferriage as may be established by the Inferior Court of Whitfield County. 17 Feb 1854
