Last paid by Maj Davis Nov 8, 1861.
On Roll of Prisoners of War at Camp Morton, Indiana June 1862. Roll undated. Captured Fort Donelson Feb 16, 1862. On Roll of Prisoners of War at Camp Morton, Indiana, August 27, 1862. Endorsement shows Rec'd the foregoing list of prisoners of war nine hundred ninety men, N. G. Watts Major CSA and Agent for exchange of prisoners. On board Steamer Champion near Vicksburg MS Sept 11, 1862.
After the exchange - they were assigned to Co K, 1st Confederate Reg't Georgia Volunteers. On Company Muster Roll, dated Dec 31, 1862. Last paid by Major Jackson June 1862, At home on sick furlough Catoosa Co GA. (Neighboring county to Whitfield Co GA) Absent without leave on Company Muster Roll for January and Feb 1862, dated Feb 28, 1863.
