George Hamilton to John Dyson Deed

This Indenture made the sixth day of June one thousand eight hundred & twenty between James Render & George W. Hamilton, administrators of the estate of George Hamilton decd of the one part and John Dyson of the other part all of the county and state aforesaid, Witnesseth that the said James Render & George W. Hamilton admrs. as aforesaid in pursuance of an order of the Honorable the court of said county did expose to public sale and outcry at the court house of said County on the first Tuesday of April in the year aforesaid all that tract or parcel of land situate in the county and state aforesaid on the waters of Fishing Creek containing two hundred acres more or less, being the same tract that the said George Hamilton decd purchased of James Sherer(?), and bounded as in and by a deed from said Sherer(?) to the said George doth express and the said land being then and there set up to the highest bidder the same was knocked to the said John Dyson for the sum of eight hundred dollars his being the highest and best bid and for and in the consideration of the said sum of eight hundred dollars to us the said James & George W. admrs. as aforesaid to us in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained and sold, set over & convey to the said John Dyson his heirs & assigns the aforesaid described land, premises, with the appurtenances thereof to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with all & singular the premises and appurtenances thereof the same adjoining Mrs. Hamilton, John Snelson, John Todd & the heirs of Wm Murphy decd and the said James Render & George W. Hamilton admrs. as aforesaid the land and premises aforesaid will warrant and defend against the heirs & representatives of the said George Hamilton decd and all persons whatsoever as far as the law legally authorizes them as admrs. and no further to him the said John Dyson his heirs and assigns forever. In witness whereof the said James Render & George W. Hamilton admrs. as aforesaid hath hereunto set their hands and seals the day and date at first written.
