Know all men by these presents that I Archilus Harris of the county of Wilkes, for and in consideration of the sum of fifty pounds, lawfull money of the state of Georgia, to me in hand paid, by John Talbot, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have bargained and sold, and by these presents do bargain sell and deliver, unto the aforesaid John Talbot his heirs and assigns forever, the following articles (to wit,) two feather beads of furniture, two cows and calves and one yearling, one black mare all my puter, pots and houshold furniture of all kinds, whatsoever. I also sell unto the said John Talbot, and his heirs and assigns forever all my right and title in and to an estate, left to me and my wife, by her mother Frances Smith of Hannover County in Virginia and now in the hands of Bartlett Smith of the said county, of the said state of Virginia all which articles I warrant and defend, unto the said John Talbot his heirs and assigns, against me and my heirs and against the claim and demand of any person or persons, whatsoever in witness whereof the said Archilus Harris hath hereunto set his hand and seal this third day of July 1788.

saw Archalus Harris sign and acknowledge the within bill of sale and the receipt
theron endorsed, and also that he saw Price Bird, the subscribing witness sign
