This indenture, made this 15th day of December, in the year of our Lord
One Thousand Nine Hundred and Thirteen between O. W. Smith of the County of
Marion of the first part and J. W. Wall and J. E. Wall of the County of Marion
of the second part, Witnesseth. That the said party of the first part for
and in consideration of the sum of Fifteen hundred dollars in hand paid at and
before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, sold and conveyed and by these
presents doth grant bargain, will and convey unto the said party of the second
part, their heirs and assigns all that tract of parcel of land lying and being
in the County of Marion, said State. To Wit: The south half of lot of land
Number 236 containing 101 1/7 acres more or less. Also 80 acres more or
less off of lot of land 245, also 80 acres being described as follows:
Commencing at the South West corner of said lot number 245 and running East to
Kinchafoonee creek and thence
up said creek to within 66 yards of Clements and McCalls old Mill Dam, thence
North west so as to strike the original line on the west side of said lot where
the old Mill Road crosses said line, thence South to starting point said two
parcels of land being in one body and aggregating 191-1/7 acres more or less,
situate lying and being in the 5th District of Marion County, State of
Georgia.
Said land being Bound as follows: North of by lands of Mrs. J. W. Wall,
Matthew Short and Joseph(?) Majors, East by land of J. S. Rogers, south by land
of J. S. Rogers and Mrs. Cordelia? Worthen and West by the old Bartlett place.

Thousand Nine Hundred thirteen between Mathew E. Short of the County of Marion
of the first part and John W. Wall of the County of Marion of the second part,
Witnesseth: That the said party of the first part for and in consideration of
the sum of five dollars in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of
these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowleged, hath granted,
bargained, sold and conveyed and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell and
convey unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns all that
tract or parcel of land lying or bieng in the County of Marion, said State to
Wit: One fourth of an acre more or less on the South line of lot of land number
235, said one seventh of land being described as follows: Commencing at a point
on the south line of said lot at a point 126 yards east of the South west corner
of said lot and running east 70 yards, thence north 17-1/2 yards, thence west 70
yards, thence south to the point of beginning 17-1/2 yards, said land situate
lying and being in the 5th District of Marion County, State of Georgia.

married sister of John W. Wall and John W. Wall married the sister of Mathew
