Application:
1. Name and where does he reside: I P Blue, Marion County GA, Draneville RFD
2. How long and since when have you been a resident of this state? All my life.
3. When and where born: 1846, Marion County GA
4. When and where and in what company and regiment did you enlist and serve: May 1864, Co E, 63rd GA Reg.
5. How long? Until the close of war 1865.
6. Co and Regt surrendered when? 1865, later part of April.
7. Were you with your co and regt when surrendered? No
8. If not present where were you? At home, Marion Co GA on sick furlough left command abt 1st Apr 1865, left by authority of camp commander.
9. How much can you earn per year $50.00
10. What has been your occupation since 1865? farming.
11. Applying for pension on what grounds: age, infirmity and poverty.
12. What infirmities: about one year could not support by own labor, suffers from Piles, rheumatism and kidney trouble.
13. Property: nothing only horse and buggy and household furniture, no income.
14. What property did you posses in 1901-1907? Nothing only one horse, wagon, buggy and household furniture.
15. County resided in: Marion County
16. Supported self by own labor.
17.. Support per year? $125 to $1500 that contributed by self.
18. Employment was farming, proceeds of crops.
19. Family: Has wife and 5 children. Wife is 35 years old, children from 2-12 years old.

Oct 1, 1907: Not an aged man,. A sale of horse & buggy will furnish support for awhile. To come under the head for which this pension is allowed be must not have any means of any value at all. Cannot allow this pension now. J W Lindsey, Com of Pensions
App for Indigent pension: 6 May 1908 by I P Blue. Property: horse and buggy and household furniture belongs to wife. He has 6 minor children ages 5 months to 12 years. 3 boys and 3 girls, the oldest is a girl with no earning capacity. Applicant is a chronic sufferer from kidney trouble, is badly ruptured and suffers from piles. severely, which renders him unable to do work of any kind to make a support.
