LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF SPENCER YOUNGBLOOD

I Spencer Youngblood of said State and County--being of advanced age but of sound and disposing memory Knowing that I must shortly depart this life deem it right and proper both as respects my family and myself that I should make a disposition of the property with which a Kind providence has blessed me I do therefore make this my last Will and testament hereby revoking and annulling all others [by] me heretofore made.
First I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent and christianlike [sic] manner suitable to my circumstances and condition in life. My soul I trust shall return to rest with God who gave it as I hope for salvation through the merits and atonement of the blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Secondly, I desire and direct that all my Just debts be paid without delay by my Executors herein after named and appointed.
Thirdly--I give bequeath and devise--to my beloved wife Martha C. Youngblood that particular lot or parcel of land in the 58th Dist. G.M. of said County upon which I now reside containing six-Hundred and twenty five, 625, acres more or less with all the rights members and appurtenances to said lot or parcel of land in anywise belonging free from all charge whatever to her own proper use and benefit during her natural life or widowhood only with full power to use and manage as she may deem proper. I also give and bequeath to my beloved wife in the same manner all the farming utensils used on and belonging to the farm on said lot or parcel of land also one horse cart, one buggy - and harness - one sugar or cane Mill - one sixty, 60, Gallon boiler - one apple mill and one two horse wagon - and one horse and one Mule also all my stock cattle Hogs and sheep and all my household and kitchen furniture and all net money that may be in my possession at the time of my death.
The property devised and bequeathed in the above article to my wife is in full extinguishment of her whole right of Dawes in my real estate.
Fourthly I give bequeath and devise to my son George A. Youngblood all that lot or parcel of land in the 58th Dist. G.M. of said County containing three Hundred and sixty eight, 368, acres more or less bounded North and West by lands of Thomas Howell south West by the Little Ohoopee River and on all other sides by lands of myself and Known as the Mill tract said land I value at Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) with all the rights members and appurtenances to said lot or parcel of land in any wise belonging forever in fee simple.
Fifthly I give and bequeath and devise to my son Ira M. Youngblood all that lot or parcel of land in the 58th Dist. G.M. of said County containing one Hundred and eleven, 111, acres more or less bounded North by lands of E. Martin East by lands of A. J. Youngblood and on all other sides by lands belonging to myself said land I value at Three Hundred dollars ($300.00) with all the rights members and appurtenances to said lot or parcel of land in any wise belonging forever in fee simple.
Sixthly I give and bequeath to my son Ira M. Youngblood one Hundred Dollars in cash to him the said Ira M. forever.
Seventhly I give bequeath and devise to my son Lucian P. Youngblood to take effect at the death of my said wife or at the expiration of her widowhood all that lot or parcel of land in the 58th Dist. G.M. of said County being the place upon which I now reside containing six Hundred and Twenty five acres (625) more or less bounded north by Thomas Howell East by that tract bequeathed herein to Ira M. Youngblood south by lands of J. L. Moore South west by the Little Ohoopee River and West by the Mill tract of land bequeathed herein to George A. Youngblood said land I value at Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) with all the rights members and appurtenances to said lot or parcel of land in any wise belonging forever in fee simple. It being distinctly understood that my son the said Lucian P. Youngblood is to reside on said land from the time of my death looking after the interest of his mother and sisters should they remain on the place after my death and my son the said Lucian P. Youngblood is hereby authorized to Keep up the place repairs to and make any and all improvements thereon that he may see fit and proper to make.
Eighthly I give bequeath and devise to my daughter Elizabeth Agnes Yeomans [sic] for her safe and separate use for and during her natural life free from the debts and liabilities of her present or a future husband the following real Estate to wit One lot or parcel of land in the 395th Dist. G.M. of said County containing Three Hundred and Thirteen (313) acres, more or less, Bounded North by lands of Dennis Mincy West by lands of John D. Gillis south by the Great Ohoopee River and East by the Little Ohoopee River. The property in this article contained at the death of my daughter Elizabeth Agnes Yeomans [sic] shall pass to and become the property of the children and representatives of children of said Elizabeth Agnes Youmans [sic] forever in fee simple. And should the said Elizabeth Agnes Youmans [sic] depart this life without issue then said property at her death is to revert to her brothers and sisters share and share alike forever in fee simple. I value said land to Elizabeth Agnes Youmans [sic] at four Hundred Dollars ($400.00).
Ninethly I give bequeath and devise to my daughter Cornelia Phillips that lot or parcel of land in the 395th Dist. G.M. of said County Containing Two Hundred and Twenty one (221) acres, more or less, Bounded south by lands of E. D. Phillips West by lands of Jas. Phillips North by lands of W. C. Phillips and East by T. L. Moore with all the rights members and appurtenances to said land in any wise belonging forever in fee simple. I value the above land at Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00).
Tenthly I give and bequeath to my daughter Cornelia Phillips one Hundred Dollars in cash To her the said Cornelia Phillips forever.
Eleventh - I give bequeath and devise to my daughter [sic] Selena F. Durden, Rosa Youngblood and Mary J. Youngblood all that lot or parcel of land in the 1232nd Dist. G.M. of Montgomery County and said state containing Nine Hundred and forty eight (948) acres more or less Bounded North by lands of John Gillis West by lands of Louis Hutchinson south by lands of Rowan Phillips and East by lands of William Blount with all the rights members and appurtenances to said lot or parcel of land in any wise belonging forever in fee simple. I value said land at Twelve Hundred Dollars ($1200.00) and to be equally divided between my three daughters the said Selena F. Durden Rosa Youngblood and Mary J. Youngblood [sic].
Twelfth - I give and bequeath to my Nephew Amos Patrick Youngblood one sorrel white faced horse colt now Eight (8) Months old. Also one Hundred Dollars ($100.00) cash. To him the said Amos Patrick Youngblood forever.
Thirteenth The residue of my property both real and personal wherever and whatever it may be including the personal and perishable property given to my wife Martha C. Youngblood in the Third article of this Will for and during her natural life or widowhood I give bequeath and devise to all my children named in this Will share and share alike in fee simple and forever. And I hereby appoint my son Lucian P. Youngblood Guardian of the person and property of my said minor daughter Mary J. Youngblood.
Fourteenth I hereby constitute and appoint my son George A. Youngblood and my son in law John E. Youmans [sic] Executors of this my last Will and testament This August 26th 1886.

Signed sealed and declared and published by Spencer Youngblood as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us, the undersigned who subscribed our names hereto in the presence of said Testator at his special instance and request and in the presence of each other--This August 26th 1886.

) Whereas I Spencer Youngblood did on the 26th day of August A.D. 1886 sign seal declare and State of Georgia ) publish my last Will and Testament in the presence of A. J. Youngblood/ E. Martin Emanuel County ) and J. P. Pughsley who signed the said Will and Testament as Witnesses And whereas I am
) desireous [sic] of altering and changing bequest and devises in the Eleventh Twelfth and Thirteenth and also in the fifth and ninth articles of said Will and to supply the omissions therein. I therefore make and publish this Codicil to said Will and Testament--First I revoke and annul the said Eleventh article of said Will so far as relates to all that lot or parcel of land in the 1232 dist G.M. [sic] of Montgomery County Georgia Containing 948 acres more or less.
Secondly I direct that said lot or parcel of land in 1232. Dist G.M. [sic] of Montgomery County Georgia be sold after my death by my Executors (should I not sell same prior to by death) and of the proceeds thereof I give bequeath and devise to my said daughters Salena [sic] Durden Rosa Nunez and Mary J. Youngblood Each five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) said amounts at the death of the said Selena Durden Rosa Nunez and Mary J. Youngblood shall pass to and become the property of their respective children and representatives of said children forever in fee simple and should the said Rosa Nunez and the said Mary J. Youngblood depart this life without issue then said property at their death respectively is to revert to their brothers and sisters share and share alike forever in fee simple and from said proceeds of said land I give bequeath and devise unto my two sons George A. and Ira M. Youngblood and to my daughters Cornelia Phillip [sic] Each Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00).
Thirdly I revoke and annul the said Twelfth Article of said Will so far as relates to one Hundred Dollars ($100.00) bequeathed to my Nephew the said Amos Patrick Youngblood.
Fourthly I give bequeath and devise to to [sic] my said daughter Mary J. Youngblood one sorrel horse colt near two years old and now in my possession.
Fifthly I revoke and annul the said Fifth and ninth articles of my said Will so far as relates to ($100.00) bequeathed to said Ira M. Youngblood and Cornelia Phillip [sic]. Sixthly If said lot or parcel of land should be sold by my Executors I direct that the balance of the proceeds thereof after all debts and expenses have been paid be equally divided between all of my said sons and daughters share and share alike.
