John Morgan McLean was the son of John McLean & Rebecca Cavender, born in Fayette County on 30 Jul 1837. He married Martha N. Cavender on 07 Jan 1862 in Fayette Co., GA. They had one daughter born before he died, Georgia Fernandez McLean, born 14 Jan 1863. John died in Richmond, VA on 05 Jun 1864.
