Homestead Act Petition - 1875

The petition of Frederick Human respectfully shows that he is the head of a family consisting of himself, wife and one minor child, and he desires under the provision of Section First Article Seven of the Constitution of Georgia and an Act of General Assembly approved October 3rd 1868, entitled An Act for Setting Apart a Homestead of Realty and Personalty, and for the valuation of the same to be exempt from levy and sale for the use of his said family, certain real estate worth less than two thousand dollars and certain personal property worth less than one thousand dollars, a schedule of which is hereto attached to which reference is prayed.
