Georgia was a British Colony. In 1824, Ware County was formed from Appling County. In 1818, Appling County formed in 1818 from land ceded by the Creek Indians in the Treaty of Fort Jackson in 1814 and the Treaty of the Creek Agency in 1818.Children of Ware County
