Listed as burial in West Hill Cemetery Dalton Ga on 11-24-1946. Joe Gang address is listed as 327 Tucker Chattanooga, TN. Do you have a list of those buried in West Hill, if so can I purchase it. Also, any info you can give on Gang family.

Cheryl Hamblin Harris 08/30/04 I am looking for information on my great grandfather WILLIAM HOLMES KING. They tell me he was an orphan at one time. He worked for the Railroad in the Varnell/Cohutta area. He married Harriet Missouri Cahoon. Any information is greatly appreciated. This is definitely a brick wall.

Gwen Williams - 08/30/04 Researching POPE, NOBLETT, and EDWARDS of Whitfield Co., GA. I am trying to locate the graves of Thomas Pope, Elizabeth Pope, and their daughter, Harriet Pope Edwards of Dalton. This family owned 160 acres in southwest Dalton along Dug Gap Road and I-75 (west side of property) in 1850's through the 1870's. Deed Book D, page 405-406, owning LL # 31, in the 13th District, Section 3. This property is south of Indian Hills and does include Sunset Valley and Little Swamp Creek, with some of its tributaries.Hwy. 41 and 3 crosses the property near the east side. If anyone could help me, I would greatly appreciate their assistance and have information to share on this family.

I was told that she may have been half or full blooded cherokee? i do no know where she was born but i am almost sure her and my grandfather were married in whitfield co. I do know my mothers brother was born in 1915. my grandfathers name was robert underwood. I would appreciate any assistance you could give me.

Roy Chadwick - 08/16/04 I am trying to find info on my Gfather's Brother Robert Chadwick born possible Ga, died abt 1839 Dalton Ga?. He was believed to have owned a Mountian Resort near there. Any info would be helpful.

Pat 06/28/04 I am looking for a friend , Frances (Fran) cooper who lived in Dalton 1973-74. Her mother worked at Dalton JR. College, not sure what her father did, also I believe she had a brother. they lived near the college in a gray house as I remember. Any help you could send me would be appreciated.

Both buried Tunnel Hill Whitfield Co., GA; ROBERT HENDERSON Born Abt. 1912; RUBY HENDERSON Born Abt. 1914; JOHNNIE M. HENDERSON Born Abt. 1917; NINA R. HENDERSON Born Abt. 1922; WILL N. HENDERSON Born Abt. 1924; LOIS HENDERSON Born Abt. 1926; THOMAS E. HENDERSON (1928-1994). John and Laura lived in Gordon Co., Ga Resaca area in 1920 and 1930 Census where John was a mail carrier. According to Death Index, they were buried in Whitfield Co., GA. John's parents, Thomas L. and Martha L. Henderson are my great-great grandparents. John's sister, Dorothy Beatrice married William Thomas Wright in Gilmer Co., Ga. This is my line. Appreciate any information on how to contact children or grandchildren of this family, obituary information, etc.
