In consideration whereof, and in obedience to and in execution of the will of my said Testator, I the said Branch executor as aforesaid, have emancipated, manumitted, and set free, and by these presents do manumit emancipate and set free the said Becky, wife of the said Cuffie hereby pronouncing and declaring the said Becky to be no longer a slave, but to be to all intents and purposes as free as if she had been freeborn, and had never been in slavery or bondage rec 8 July 05. Trabue fulfilling the will of TT dated 23 July 1806 and recorded 13 April 07 noting that freedom after 1806 requires leaving state requires his exec to convey Roderick (alias Roderick Trabue) at the expence of the estate to the Cumberland settlement in the state of Tennessee and to render the situation of the said Roderick when emancipated more comfortable and eligible TT gave him 100acres lying and being in the Mero?? District and Sumpter County so this deed for 1$ gives him the tract if Roderick had died before 21 the tract would have passed to brothers Jn and Jacob Trabue and sister Polly Depp Roderick survives rec 8 Dec 1817 for purpose of certifying deed to be recorded in Sumpter Co.
