George REDMAN (son of John REDMAN & Cassie) was born a slave. He was freed by the Last Will of Caleb REDMAN. He registered in Northumberland County on 13 February 1815: negro man, about 38 years, 5'8" [1803-1850 Register of Free Negroes #86]. He and his wife Mary left a large number of descendants in Loudoun County.
